Ulawun, Papua New Guinea
One of the most recent images in this gallery, this shows the plume from Ulawun in Papua New Guinea in November of 2012. It is one of the most active volcanoes in Papua New Guinea, with almost constant, small eruptions since 1999. These eruptions in November dusted across tens of kilometers from the volcano, often drifting out over the sea.
